Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our project list is dedicated to supporting our students in every way possible. We have included two sets of high school books to be utilized in our girls' small group sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays. These books will serve as engaging novels for us to read together. Additionally, we have included whiteboards, therapy toys, and cards to support social-emotional learning during group sessions and to be housed in our high school calming area. Snacks will be provided for students during small groups or when they need a little something to snack on during testing. Cleaning supplies are also included to keep our session areas clean and tidy after meetings.Furthermore, the color printer will be used by our guidance team to create vibrant and eye-catching flyers for all our events and gifts for our students.

Our ultimate aim for the school counselors department and this project is to provide our students with top-quality materials and a learning environment that fosters their success.

We are confident that our students and guidance team here at BHHS will greatly appreciate all these items.
