Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Flexible seating options like stools give my classroom a warm feeling while still allowing my students to work and move as necessary throughout the room. It also will make working at the teacher's table feel more special as students will get a break from their regular desk chairs.

As a Math, Science, and Social Studies teacher, I'm always looking for more ways to make content interesting to students and to engage them in their learning.

A big way I do this is through making interactive notebooks and playing games in the classroom. The storage shelves and bins will allow me to store two class sets of notebooks and materials in a more functional manner. The Math games will help my students with practicing important concepts in third grade while they are having fun. I also included STEM bin materials as they allow students to think outside of the box in many areas.
