it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My name is Rene Godina, I am a music teacher at C. Elementary School in Mt Vernon, Washington. The goal of this project is to empower our students with the opportunity to learn a timeless and culturally enriching instrument while promoting teamwork, self-expression, and cognitive development.
We kindly request funding to bring this vision to life and positively impact the lives of countless students.
We hope by introducing the violin to our students, they will be able to have a full understanding of all music instruments and sounds. In addition this will also cultivate essential life skills such as discipline, patience through music and the arts.
