Support Our Charter Business and Broadcasting Programs
Help me give my students a MacBook to create professional-quality live broadcasts, videos, and graphic design projects as we grow our Business and Broadcasting programs.
Thank you for taking the time to support this project! With the partnership, we are excited to continue building and expanding the school's Business and Broadcasting programs.
This year marked a major step forward, as we introduced business and entrepreneurship classes at both the middle and high school levels, along with a new 7–12 digital media and broadcasting course.
For the first time, we also provided live play-by-play coverage of several football and boys' basketball games, made possible through Hudl’s broadcast software — a tool available exclusively on Mac computers. While our first year of live broadcasting was a success, we faced some technical challenges with equipment that couldn’t keep up with the demands of streaming high-quality audio and video for multiple hours.
As we prepare for next year and the continued growth of these programs, we are seeking support to purchase a MacBook capable of handling live broadcasts, professional-level video and audio editing, and advanced graphic design projects. This new technology will empower our students to create even higher-quality content, strengthening both the Broadcasting and Business departments.
