My Project
My school is a Title I school and the majority of my students live in poverty. I teach 102 students in 5th grade American history and science. Often, coming to school is the highlight of their day. They eat, learn, play, and work hard each day. My students show grit when faced with adversity and challenges.
COVID greatly impacted students' social-emotional health and we have much to make up for.
These supplies and materials will allow collaborative work and for my students' brilliance to shine. During quizzes and tests, their privacy folders will protect their ideas and the giant timer will let them know how much time they have left.
