My Project

My number one goal in my Title One classroom is to make sure ALL of my students have access to basic school supplies and, most importantly, food! I have learned that after COVID, our students feels left behind. They are using old supplies and hand-me-down items that generally make them feel like they do not deserve the access to new supplies/materials. It gets discouraging being handed old items to use on a daily basis, especially in those early teen years. I want my students to see that they are deserving of new supplies/materials as they grow their love of reading and increase their reading stamina!
