Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Goal - to promote school attendance and high school graduation. We are a continuation high school and many students come to us with histories of inappropriate school attendance. School attendance is significant to both academic growth and also achieving high school graduation.
Please help our school promote school attendance and high school graduation.
The hoodies will be an incentive reward for those students who show improved and/or excellent attendance. We implement incentive programs throughout the school year to encourage improvement in school attendance. Students will be recognized for their improved and/or excellent attendance and will have the opportunity to choose a hoodie as a reward.
Many of our students are at the poverty level and some are homeless. The hoodies will help our students with needed clothing during these colder winter months. Thank you for supporting our students.
