My Students

My students have been recognized for their academic performance in the state of Texas. We are a large, title-one junior high school in the DFW area. About 60% of our students receive free or reduced lunch.

I have an awesome group of 13 young female leaders that hope to increase their cheer skills.

These young ladies take the initiative to be positive role models for their peers and in the community. They need your help to pay for expensive cheer camp.

My Project

Cheer camp is necessary so that girls learn proper techniques and do not injure themselves or each other. They will learn how to do jumps and stunts safely. The cheerleaders get to bond as a team and learn skills that help them be better leaders.

It is our goal to have the cheer camp fully funded so the girls have a way to learn safe techniques and leadership skills.

The camp is long and very active. They will learn many skills, including: dance, cheer motions, pyramid stunts, and jumps. This is a special time for our girls to become empowered and build confidence.
