My Project
I work with primary and elementary school students that need support with phonics and reading skills. I work with small groups to reinforce reading and phonics skills. My students are eager to learn new skills and enjoy small group instruction that is fun. The items I selected will be used to teach and practice these skills with groups that are three to five students. My goals for teaching reading and phonics are to have students use hands-on materials to learn decoding and spelling skills. These items will help students to decode words, read with fluency, and support all ELA skills.
