This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are curious, energetic, inventive, brave, helpful, and persistent learners who lack some of the necessary resources in the classroom that will facilitate in meeting academic goals.
Students in my class are empowered to take ownership of their learning, set goals, and consistently challenge themselves.
My students enjoy learning through technology, engaging literature, differentiated centers, and problem-based learning. I would like to thank you in advance for your gracious donation that will help shape the future of my students.
My Project
Help contribute in fulfilling second grade reading standards in a Dual Language classroom! The texts requested will support reading standards like comparing two or more same stories and to recount folktales from diverse cultures to determine their main message.
These resources will provide my students with literature in the target language, Spanish, and in English, support social emotional learning, and the art supplies will help supplement my cultural affirming lessons.
