This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My wonderful students often come to school without the period supplies they need for the day. Often, when they are sent to the nurse, they lose valuable class instructional time in class.
We are creating a menstruation station to take the stigma away from asking for the supplies they need to be healthy and concentrate on their learning.
We also have books in this project to help teach students about what is happening with their bodies during this time of much change in their lives. We hope you will support us!
