Help me give my students basic supplies to succeed in the classroom. To help keep students in school through making sure the students are protected with masks and the room is sanitized to keep them from getting sick.

My Students

Our sweet southern town is home to a small section of a rural school district with 4,400 students total. The town is committed to the education of its children and is very involved in the school community. The majority of students in our school district come from low-income households; the average income in our district is $19,000 a year. All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch daily. Classes transition to and from social studies and science throughout the day.

My Project

Disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer and face mask are must-have in order to keep students in a face-to-face classroom and keep them from getting sick throughout the school year. Scissors, glue sticks and clipboards will be beneficial in creating hands on lessons that keep students engaged and wanting to learn. These items will help students be more excited to be in the classroom as well as make them more prepared for class especially knowing that if they lose a pencil, they will be able to be provided with another one in class.
