Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Broken crayons and dried out makers are no good! We need quality supplies in order for us to complete our work!
My wonderful kindergarten students are in a 12:1:1 self-contained Special Education program in a Title I school.
My students work hard every day towards achieving the same academic goals as their general education peers. The disabilities of the students in my class include autism, speech and language impairments, and learning disabilities.
My Project
My classroom needs basic supplies to keep us going!
With multiple students with different disabilities, it is easy to run out of basic supplies such as crayons and markers and construction paper very quickly!
Crayons, Tape, Makers, Construction Paper, Paint, and Paint Brushes are all a very important part of Kindergarten! My students need the supplies to create the same art projects that we created as children!!
Every child deserves the chance to create something beautiful, and without these supplies it has been very difficult for us to create beautiful art work with our students!!
My wonderful Special Education students would love to create wonderful art projects in our classroom, but we need your help!
