My Project

Each school year, my students arrive with curiosity and enthusiasm—but often without the basic supplies they need to make the most of their learning. This project provides essential tools like pencils, colored pencils, erasers, and rulers that help turn ideas into reality. I’m also including mechanical pencils and pencil holders to cut down on how many pencils we go through and practice some accountability. Additionally, since reading is at the heart of so much we do, I’m adding bookmarks—an often-overlooked little tool that students love and ask for constantly. Finally, I'm asking for Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards so that I can make sure to always have curricular materials the serve the diverse learning needs of my students. These aren't flashy items, but they make a huge difference in how the classroom runs and how students feel about their learning.

When students have their own tools and a system to keep track of them, they take more ownership of their work and feel more capable.

These materials help the classroom run more smoothly and make space for more creativity, focus, and confidence.
