Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My first grade students are passionate about boosting their knowledge in reading, writing, and arithmetic. The tools in this project will give my students the hands-on materials they need to help them reach their goals by the end of the school year.

My students are six and seven-year-olds that attend a college-prep charter school.

Our goal is 100% college acceptance and my students work towards that every day. My students know that college is a reality. I am so proud that they are taking ownership of their own learning and following their dreams.

My Project

These great hands-on materials will be used nearly every day in our reading, writing, and math centers. The materials will also be a great resource for small group instruction and after school tutoring for my struggling students. With these supplies, my students will be given the tools they need to boost their confidence in reading, writing, and arithmetic!

I am so excited to share these resources with my students!

I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they are each given a brand new writing journal. I'm also looking forward to creating new reading, writing, and math centers with these materials. I am confident that my students will be invested in these centers with these great hands-on materials.
