Help me give my students various tools including a sensory processing support kit and products to promote mindfulness practices to help them with social, emotional and self regulation skills and strategies.

My Students
My scholars show me their own creativity and individuality every day, yet they also show love and care for each other like a family. We laugh, we cry, we struggle , and we soar together. They may all have their own personal challenges, but they are amazing, and I am proud that I get to see them learn and grow. To help us with this growth we incorporate many different learning techniques including sensory integration and mindfulness practices.
What makes them special?
Uniqueness, spirit, love, resilience, passion, bravery and strength all come to mind. They are superheroes, sometimes flying, sometimes faltering, but always their fantastic selves. Many have been through extraordinary challenges in their short lives, coming from, or living in stressful situations, or struggling with personal difficulties, so that they have to work harder than many others. Yet they are kind, courageous and caring humans that want to learn and make a difference in themselves and their world.
My Project
My scholars are learning to use different strategies to help them calm and regulate themselves when they are feeling big emotions, stressed, or having a hard time keeping themselves focused. These strategies will help them keep focus and attend to their schoolwork, so that they can achieve all of their learning goals, while also building stronger social, emotional and self-regulation skills.
They need to learn the strategies that work for each of them and many of these strategies involve using items for sensory needs and mindfulness activities.
Having a variety of choices of activities and objects to help them develop these strategies will be essential to the learning process for them. With these items, I can update our reflection zone in the classroom, as well as provide my scholars with a wider variety of tools to use during instruction and throughout their day to allow them to figure out what works best for their needs.
