Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Middle School students with learning disabilities often need special supplies to support their unique learning goals. Supplies like headphones to assist with text-to-speech and thin-line wipe-off markers, pencil grips, and folders can help us fulfill individual accommodations.
Our classroom environment is a hands-on environment that encourages kids to try new strategies.
Having supplies for learning stations available to them such as pocket charts and privacy dividers for independent work create an environment where they can be independent and in control of their learning. We are extremely grateful for your support.
