My Students

I have the privilege of working with an amazing group of individuals that are unique thinkers. My students come from a high poverty area. They are diverse in how they learn, the languages they speak, and in the opportunities that are available to them outside of school.

My students are always willing to learn and put their best foot forward each and every day.

These children are fascinated with discovering new things. They are encouraged to try and learn from mistakes and to redo or prove their own work. If they are given the right learning environment, these students can achieve greatness.

My Project

Moving to a new grade finds me needing to supplemental Reading, Math, Writing, and Last materials. The Spectrum work books are a great tool to use as extra support for students who are needing just a little bit more. I am looking to get a copy of each book to start next year. I am heading to a new classroom in my school which also means new laminating projects and labeling. I will also need of new binder clips to organize materials.

Remember walking into the classroom on the first day of school and having new pencils, erasers, markers, and bookmarks.

Help me give these things to my students. There is nothing better than starting the year off right with new supplies on every student's desk. When a student feels special they start to feel safe, and when they feel safe they start to take chances. That is where the learning happens.
