My Students

My students are incredible! My students are in kindergarten, first, second, third, and fourth grade. They are curious, inquisitive, hardworking, and dedicated. All of my students have Individualized Educational Plans because they have been diagnosed with disabilities.

All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch at school.

They come from high poverty areas, and they all love coming to school. My students are brilliant individuals who learn differently than their peers. These students will be successful, and it's my job to create learning opportunities that ensure this.

My Project

We tell our students everyday how important it is to frequently wash their hands at school and at home to help us all stay healthy. I think it is so important to be preventative when taking care of ourselves and managing germs. Keeping hands clean is one of the most important steps we can take to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others. Many diseases and conditions are spread by not washing hands with soap and clean, running water.

My students advocate for themselves and their families when they need soap, sanitizer, lotion (for dry hands when they are washing often), and tissues.

I am writing this project to have these materials available to send home with their families.
