Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students curious and full of potential. Even when they face challenges outside of the classroom, they come to school each day with a need to learn. Many of them come from low-income households, where school supplies can be a luxury. Despite this, they are determined, resilient, and ready to make the most of every learning opportunity.

With your support, I can provide them with the tools they need to stay organized, engaged, and confident in their learning.

The materials I’m requesting—interactive notebooks, folders, colored pens, literary anchor charts, and highlighters—will help create a structured and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.

Interactive notebooks will allow students to take meaningful notes, reflect on lessons, and engage creatively with the content. Folders will help them stay organized and take ownership of their work, building habits that support long-term success. Colored pens will be used for self-editing and reflection, helping students become more aware of their growth and progress.

Literary anchor charts will serve as helpful visual tools, reinforcing key reading and writing strategies. Highlighters will support active reading and annotation, helping students engage more deeply with texts and build stronger comprehension skills.

These may seem like simple items, but for many of my students, they’re tools they wouldn’t otherwise have access to. Your generosity will help level the playing field and ensure every student has what they need to succeed. Thank you for making a real difference in their learning journey.
