My Students

Our elementary school is full of charismatic 4th grade students who are eager learners from diverse backgrounds. We are focused on the development of our students manners, respect, and responsibility. Our 4th graders are from the heart of Henderson, Nevada and they are between the ages of 9 and 11 years old.

Our students enjoy exploring various concepts through hands on activities.

They are enthusiastic about new concepts and ideas in the classroom, we as teachers are always looking for new ways to motivate and inspire our kids, and encourage them to push themselves beyond their perceived ability.

My Project

All of the supplies I have requested, will help to meet the learning needs of the individual students in my classroom! Due to the health and safety restrictions we face daily this school year, it is most important that each child have their own supplies and materials to work with. The supplies I am requesting, will help accomplish that goal.

I have chosen materials that will be especially effective in promoting engaging activities throughout our Nevada Academic Content Standards in mathematics.

These materials will be used specifically in our daily classroom math center activities.

Having individual materials allows for each student to have a personal center to work with. Students will be able to practice problem solving activities that focus on the skill and strategy we are working to master in our daily lessons.
