Supplies, Supplies... Where Art Thou!

My students need the basic supplies to aid in their learning. We need basic white copy paper, cardstock for task cards, glue, chart paper, and lysol wipes to keep our room tidy.

My Students

We are a group of driven, hardworking, and determined 4th grade students. Our classroom consists of students who understand the importance of education, and its lasting impact on our lives. We are an inner city elementary Title I school where 100% of our students receive free lunch. My school is dedicated to nurturing productive and caring citizens. Your donation will aid in showing them what great character is, so that they may use your example for their own future endeavors.

My Project

Do you remember your 4th grade classroom supply closet? I do. Ee had markers, crayons, paint, colorful paper, and more than enough glue. Whenever we ran out of any supplies, it just "magically" appeared in the closet the next day. Unfortunately, this is not the case for my students. As a teacher, I want to do my job, and do it well; this requires supplies. We need copy paper, chart paper, pencils, and glue.

I am asking for the basics for my students.

We need basic copy paper, as our district is completely strapped for cash. I have already purchased reams of paper for my class as well as had some awesome parent donations, but with 30 students in each of my math and science classes, that paper doesn't stretch far. We are also in need of glue, and card stock. I truly believe in a creative and interactive class, which usually requires my students to use materials an average of four to five times a week. You have the power to help us with basic supplies. The basic supplies may seem simple, but they mean the world to us. Your donation will put an end to four students sharing one bottle of glue or glue stick. Students in every district should be provided with the basics at minimum. Thank you for taking the time to read a proposal from a passionate teacher who is determined to see her students succeed and have what they deserve as students and children.
