Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

There are so many great things to say about my students. I have been working in fifth grade for the last year and can't describe the happiness they bring me each and every day. They are so excited to learn, explore, and make progress as we face new concepts.

My students are eager to learn, and as a classroom teacher, I'm always looking for ways to keep them engaged.

Everyone is ready to learn, and they motivate each other and appreciate the different learning styles that make up the individuals in our classroom. Our classroom is made up of a diverse group of students that we value and depend on to work towards goals and learning.

Learning new concepts and finding understanding can be a difficult task, but you can count on my students to take it on! They are all so eager and ready to sink their hands in to the fun, hands-on concepts that are new to them. I've had the chance to work with wonderful students and can't wait to continue my journey this year.

My Project

These materials will be used each day in our classroom across multiple subject areas like math, reading, writing, science, and social studies. By giving my students these materials, the donors will be giving them the supplies they need to be successful each day.

All of the supplies listed in the project are basic necessities for a successful classroom environment.

I plan on using the display shelves to display new and interesting books that will peak my students interest. The large magnetic graph paper will be used during math when creating line graphs. The headphones will be used when we work through Lexia and Imagine Math, and the pencils will be used throughout the school year.
