Supplies So We Can Thrive!

Help me give my students basic school supplies that they need to thrive! Everything from card stock, to markers, to headphones, these supplies will help enhance our learning community.

My Students

I am lucky enough to teach some of the most amazing third graders. Our school is in a rapidly growing area. Many students come from middle-class families with working parents. As a Leader in Me school, we work hard to ensure that the students learn to live the 7 Habits and have a Growth Mindset. This means, as a school, we work collaboratively to reach the needs of each student and help each student be confident in who they are and their abilities.

My students love school, are eager to learn and grow, and are full of questions.

Third grade is an amazing grade full of new concepts, especially in math they have never seen before. This presents a challenge to many students. My kiddos have a wide variety of academic needs and goals. We need everyday tools to help them practice the new skills they are learning in different ways. Different tools help students practice in a variety of ways that help support each learning style.

My Project

We need basic school supplies. Our classroom can run much more smoothly when we have the basic supplies for everyday use. From colored paper to headphones, my students need these things to help them have a quality education.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to give my students basic things they need to have a place that they have a variety of supplies to help them THRIVE!

We will be able to tape and staple projects and things to help keep art projects together or even help keep their papers organized! With the paper cutter, I will be able to precut papers for activities so we can spend more time doing the project, not just cutting out parts of the project. Headphones will allow my students use the laptops and not have the sound distracting others or not being able to use the volume for this reason.
