This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have learned and grown since the beginning of the school year! They are reading, counting, and writing. However, the school year isn't over and we are still learning. My school is having difficulty receiving basic supplies such as copy paper.

In order to complete the school year I need basic supplies so that my students can continue learning.

I need to buy copy paper, to provide students with homework and supplemental material. I need a dry-erase board so that I am able to interact during our morning meetings and write down students' ideas, which would be a form of shared writing. Many students are running low on supplies and parents haven't bought students crayons, erasers or scissors. If I have the basic supplies I know that my students will continue to learn
