Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students are determined, hardworking, and eager to learn, even when faced with language barriers. My ELD and TWDL students come from diverse backgrounds, bringing rich cultural perspectives into our classroom. They are fast learners who embrace challenges, support one another, and strive for success in both English and Spanish.

The materials I’m requesting—pencils, markers, colors, paper, cardstock, and classroom decorations—will create a welcoming and engaging environment where my students feel inspired to participate and express themselves.

These supplies will help them complete interactive lessons, collaborate on projects, and develop their language skills through writing, drawing, and hands-on activities.

My goal for this project is to provide my students with the tools they need to stay motivated, organized, and confident in their learning. Having access to these essential resources will allow them to focus on their growth rather than worrying about missing supplies. Every student deserves a classroom that is colorful, inviting, and well-equipped to support their educational journey!
