This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our class is run like a family unit. We learn beyond the books and delve into character, morals, values, compassion, citizenship, sense-of-humor, and empathy.
We try our best to keep our classroom positive, inviting, and creative where kids feel welcomed, safe, respected, and eager to learn.
Many students come from low income/high poverty where there isn't always much support at home due to two working parents or language barriers. During the school day, for many students, is the only time they get a chance to read and be engaged in active learning.
My Project
We need necessary supplies for when we return to in-person learning. Students will not be able to share materials and all of the supplies in our classroom have been sent home over the last year during our online learning. Please help supply the necessary items for our kiddos to have what they need for when they return to in-person learning in the classroom. The hooks will be used to hang the water bottles on the sides of their desk so they can have a safe drink rather than a drinking fountain.
