Supplies, Learning Support, Peace Center

My Project

Help me replenish my students basic supplies, support English Learning, as well as create a safe space for learning. The stapler and tape are for students to assemble their homework and art projects. The pencils and lead refills are for students to use for their class work. Flashcards and play money are for differentiating math instruction with basic concepts, specifically decimals, multiplication, and division. The globe is to support our 6th grade social studies focus on world history. The Farsi and Spanish English workbooks will support emerging English Learners who need additional help with Language Arts. The bean bag chairs and rug are part of a Peace Center we are creating in the classroom to provide a calm space for reading and to support students' social-emotional needs. Card stock will be used for students to create their own bookmarks. Manila folders will be used to organize math and ELA lessons. Whiteboard markers are for my students and I to engage with whole class instruction.

Donating to this project will help create and maintain a space where students are engaged and feel emotionally safe.

It will help meet their learning needs and support their engagement with instruction, in turn, setting them up for success.
