Help me give my students some supplies to do great work to not only end this year but begin next school year as well. This will prepare us to begin on a successful note with enough supplies!

My Project

Hello! My teammate and I are teachers in a Strat II: ID classroom. The supplies on this list will help us both end the year on a strong note with our students and prepare us for the prep that will be done to get ready for next school year. We, as a program, are transitioning to a new building next year and having these supplies will allow us to focus on getting our rooms, routines, and procedures set up as we prepare ourselves and our students for a transitional period in their educational pathways.

We teach a group of 13 students that have various needs and range from verbal to non-verbal and utilize AAC to speak.

They inspire us every day and will use these supplies in their learning each and every day as we work on fine motor skills, adaptive skills in using token economies, and general day-to-day use. We thank you so much for your support!

We will use the timers, sensory toys, pipe cleaners, and kinetic sand for administering breaks in our classroom as the school year ends and new year begins. Velcro dots and laminating sheets will be used to prepare visuals for each individual student. Both regular and adaptive scissors will provide fine motor activities for students.

Overall, this will provide a great end/beginning of the school year for each of our students and take some weight off of our shoulders in having to provide each of these items.
