Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I met my incoming first graders and they are excited for first grade! They are eager and enthusiastic students from an urban neighborhood. They are all from varying academic levels, demographics and backgrounds. I'd like to have all their necessary supplies and resources ready for my new first graders on the first day of school. The desk dividers would be used for test taking and for privacy. The dry erase markers and animal erasers would be used daily for a variety of spelling and math activities. The fadeless paper and light strips will be used for student work displays in the classroom. The All About Me posters will be used as an ice breaker activity the first week of school so the students may learn a bit more about each other. The ziplock gallon bags will be used for take-home book storage. We'd greatly appreciate your support in helping us attain these supplies and resources for the new year!
