My Project

These materials will help my 6th-grade and 7th-grade students start the year off strong! These supplies will help them make the most of my classroom. Starting 6th grade can be scary for some students as they move on from just one teacher in 5th grade, so having enough materials for all of my students to be successful is a necessity!

All of these materials will directly benefit my students.

Students use notebooks in my class. I use stamps to mark students' work when its' correct and then they tape it into their notebooks. Every year, I need more tape and tape dispensers. One of those papers is their vocabulary sheets and I find that bright, colorful paper, makes it easier for students to find. Those notebooks need to be stored somewhere, and my old bins need to be replaced. I use colorful bins so each class period can have their own color, and I use color tape to mark which pencils belong to which class period. I use stamps to mark students' work when it's correct and then they tape it into their notebook. I like to give students a sticker when they finish their test and the ones I have selected come directly from my students. Then, they use sticky notes to fix mistakes on their test (growth mindset!). The dry-erase paint will go on the desks to cover anything that I can't remove and I will use the laminating sheets to protect materials I want to reuse next year.
