Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 3rd-grade students are full of energy, curiosity, and creativity. Many come from low-income households and face challenges outside of school, but when they walk into our classroom, they know it’s a place where they are supported, safe, and ready to grow. They are eager to learn and love hands-on activities, independent reading, and working together in small groups.

We are in need of basic classroom supplies and incentives that help our learning environment run smoothly and keep students focused.

Items like pencils, can sometimes be just as important as a positive incentive reward in the form a small fidget toy. Unfortunately, we run through these materials quickly, but I would love the opportunity to have more readily available for my students.

By donating to this project, you’ll help ensure every child in our classroom has the tools they need to be successful in our class every day, as well as incentives that can help them feel confident, loved, and excited to come to school every day.
