This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Writing and being creative is essential to early learners. The pencils that are a bit smaller than a regular pencil allows early learners to develop fine motor skills that are needed to learn to write. It allows them the ability to grip better that translates to confidence when writing.

My goals for all these supplies it to set my scholars up for a successful year in kindergarten.

My students are super special because they may not always come from the best home environment, but I get the opportunity to provide them with a welcoming, nurturing and loving environment when they come into my classroom.

The headphones will give them the ability to use technology without being distracted, and the crayons and scissors will allow them to let their minds soar with creativity.
