My Project

My students are incredibly bright, resilient, and eager to learn despite facing the challenges of a low-income community. Every day, they show determination and creativity, striving to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential. Your donation will directly support these hardworking young learners by providing essential resources to enhance their educational experience, inspire their curiosity, and open doors to opportunities they might not otherwise have. Investing in my students means you are enabling them for a future filled with hope, growth, and success for children who truly deserve the chance to shine.

Below lists what your generous donations will be used for:

The glue sticks, colored pencils, and markers will be used for their interactive notebooks. These notebooks are where they store their pre-printed notes, handwritten notes, and doodle notes to help them retain information from the lessons they learn in class. The easel pads, sticky notes, highlighters, and markers are used when we are doing group work such as annotating articles or creating a character profile for a book we are reading.

Using index cards as an exit ticket is a simple way of measuring mastery on a skill we've just learned. Also, the colored pens and felt tip pens are better to use for grading than the old red pen method.

A case of copy paper and a box of staples is a gift from heaven since it seems like I go through millions a school year.

You never know what's going to happen in the classroom, so it's always smart to have disinfectant wipes handy. The baby wipes keep students in the classroom to clean their hands or whatever instead of sending them to the restroom.
