This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My diverse group of students bring a wide variety of personalities to the table. With these personalities come a lot of laughter and joy but also sadness when they do not have the simple resources to be a successful student such as pencils and erasers. Our district adopted the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and is using a third party to help us engage in the curriculum. This curriculum is not modified or multi-language learner (MLL) friendly.

With this project, I'd be able to supply my students with basic necessities and adapt the curriculum to make it much more engaging for them.
