Help me give my students a lectern, an easel pad, markers and other materials we need to succeed as we continue to adjust to our new technology based classroom.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach roughly 140 ninth graders in a small community in Texas. My students are learning how to be empathetic, successful citizens of the world while striving for academic success and college readiness.
My goal is to foster a learning environment that gives students the tools they need to succeed.
My students are just entering high school and learning how to navigate their new environment. As their teacher, I strive to make sure they are able to do just that.

As we continue to adjust during these trying times, I want to give my students every opportunity for success.
These materials will help us manage our new normal.
The wireless keyboard and lectern with wheels will allow me to be more mobile while modeling for students. Chargers are essential in our technology driven world, and many of the supplies I have requested will help students charge their devices as needed. They are learning to become well adjusted young adults, and have to learn to keep up with these devices and keep them charged so they can be useful. I have also requested chart paper and markers for students to create "the old fashioned way," because students need hands on activities as well.
