This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are very hardworking, energetic, and creative. They are very hands-on and love being active. They enjoy running around and being free when it comes to being outside. They show a lot of grit in their work and are curious to know about the things that surround them and the things they interact with.

Although they are young in age, they are very bright.

It is a joy to hear them express themselves and listen to the questions they have. Seeing them grow over time is bittersweet because I know that I contribute to part of that development. These students have a lot of potentials to make a difference in our community and within each other. Every day that they get to interact with one another, they help and motivate each other to become better leaders.

My Project

As the year is passing by, our students are in need of supplies to help them be successful in class. We are in need of new school materials that are only provided to us at the beginning of our year. Not only that, but we are also in need of a speaker so our students can hear the educational videos we have to play for them that will help them learn. These materials are used every day, therefore we are in need of them, since these materials wear out, break, or get lost.
