This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

There are so many great things to say about my students. I have been working in fifth grade for the last year and can't describe the happiness they bring me each and every day. They are so excited to learn, explore, and make progress as we face new concepts.

My students are eager to learn, and as a classroom teacher, I'm always looking for ways to keep them engaged.

Everyone is ready to learn, and they motivate each other and appreciate the different learning styles that make up the individuals in our classroom. Our classroom is made up of a diverse group of students that we value and depend on to work towards goals and learning.

Learning new concepts and finding understanding can be a difficult task, but you can count on my students to take it on! They are all so eager and ready to sink their hands into the fun, hands-on concepts that are new to them. I've had the chance to work with wonderful students and can't wait to continue my journey this year.

My Project

These supplies will be put into individual student bins. I would like to create one bin for every student in my classroom to keep in their desk.

These materials would allow for my students to have their own colored pencils, markers, crayons, and a bin to keep everything in.

They would make a difference in their learning by having the supplies available to use in many different subject areas. This would give them the chance to keep them at their desks and not have to rummage through bins full of supplies to find what they need. All of the supplies listed are used often in many different settings. I love to incorporate using these supplies during ELA, math, science, and of course art!
