Supplies for Success

Help me give my students laminating pouches to preserve our materials, an electric pencil sharpener, and peppermint oil and other cleaning supplies to help us keep our room clean!

My Students

There is nothing not to love about my students. They have an amazing work ethic and work every single day to be the best they can be. We are an 18-21 autistic support class that prepares our students for meaningful employment post-graduation. We focus on independence, self-reliance, and self-advocacy.

They take everything in stride--trusting their teacher to lead them on community-based vocational training--where they have not only learned to navigate the public transportation system, on their own but have grown tremendously in terms of work and interpersonal communication skills.

I am consistently impressed by their continued growth and ability to navigate personal challenges.

My Project

The hand sanitizer pump as well as the wipes will help us to prevent germs from spreading. The drawstring bags will provide the students with something to carry their personal items in when we travel and the peppermint oil will help to keep our room clean! The puzzles will aid in promoting appropriate leisure activities. The laminator will be used to preserve our learning materials.

These supplies are things that help promote independence for my students.

My students never cease to amaze me with their potential. Please help me in providing my students with the tools for success this year.
