Supplies for Success

My students need new supplies, books, and other tools to help them have a successful school year! We do many projects with pictures and are never able to print them because we do not have access.

My Students

What are we in 2nd grade? We are flexible and organized! My students walk into my classroom every day excited for the new adventures on which I will take them. They are eager to see what each new day will bring and willing to try their very best in every activity they engage in.

My classroom is an inclusion classroom servicing Special Education students in a general education setting.

I have to use a lot of differentiation throughout my school day to be sure I am reaching and allowing each student access to the curriculum to the best of their ability. I spend hours modifying, creating, and altering assignments so that each student can be confident in his/her work and feel like they are able to meet the requirements for every assignment.

Also, in my class, I have many students who are a part of nutrition club, which gives them food weekly to bring home. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day. They know my classroom is their happy and safe place.

My Project

These tools will help my students in many ways. We do many projects with pictures and can never print them due to the lack of resources. The books are great books for growth mindset. The clipboards and dry erase pages will be used as part of our Readers Workshop this year. The pencil student choice will save many arguments over who was picked for what!

We would be so thrilled to have access to these tools to help make our year better and more engaging.

Our classroom could use these products to help the students engage more, be active in the classroom and for participation. As part of our readers workshop they need many supplies that can help turn my readers into future leaders.
