This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are bright, curious, and eager to learn, but they often face challenges beyond their control. Many come from low-income households where school supplies are a luxury rather than a given. Despite these challenges, they show up every day, ready to engage and grow. Our classroom is a space where they feel safe, supported, and inspired— but to keep that momentum going, we need the right tools!

As the school year progresses, our essential supplies quickly dwindle.

Pencils get used up, glue sticks dry out, and organizers overflow. This project will help restock our classroom with much-needed materials, including pencils, colored pencils, glue, tape, markers, label makers, and storage organizers. These simple supplies make a world of difference, allowing my students to work efficiently, stay engaged, and express their creativity without worry.

With these materials, students will be able to fully participate in hands-on activities, complete projects with confidence, and keep our learning space neat and functional. Label makers and organizers will help us maintain a structured and accessible classroom, ensuring that students can quickly find what they need.

When students have access to basic supplies, they can focus on what truly matters, learning. No child should have to struggle because they don’t have a pencil or glue for their assignment. By supporting this project, you’re not just providing school supplies, you’re giving my students the tools they need to succeed.
