Supplies for Success: Fueling Bright Futures

Help me give my students basic school supplies, such as earbuds, notebook paper, folders for work, and pencils, so they do not have to stress about not being able to afford items they need in class.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their resilience, creativity, and eagerness to learn—despite the many challenges they face. I teach at a Title I middle school where many of my students come to class without basic supplies, yet they show up each day ready to grow, connect, and do their best. Their determination inspires me daily, and I want to give them the tools they need to thrive.

The materials I’m requesting—pencils, paper, folders, earbuds, dry erase boards and markers, Germ-X, and Kleenex—may seem simple, but they are essential.

These resources will ensure that no student is held back by a lack of supplies. Earbuds help students focus during digital lessons. Dry erase boards make lessons interactive and allow me to assess understanding in real time. Basic supplies like folders and paper help students stay organized and engaged. And tissues and sanitizer help maintain a clean, healthy classroom environment so students can stay focused on learning.
