This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In my classroom , I have 25 wonderful English language learners who are curious and excited to learn new things. Every child in my classroom loves learning. The pandemic has been a struggle for many. They miss going to school, their classmates, and teachers.

Unfortunately, they also have a lack of resources and supplies to complete assigned activities to help them continue their learning at home.

Although, struggles continue at home, they are willing to participate in our remote classroom and engage in activities.

My Project

My students and I did not have time to gather essential supplies that we need now to continue our learning remotely. We will most likely be out of school for the remainder of the school year. My little ones are learning about this pandemic; what it means and what must be done in order to continue being safe and healthy. They are also worried about completing their work as they do not have the resources and supplies at home to continue their learning.

My students need white boards, markers, pencils, crayons and books.

They need these essential materials at home. They will use the whiteboards to practice addition facts. They will also use it to write their answers while we do Live teaching. They need pencils and crayons to use for writing. In addition, they need books to continue practicing reading strategies.

Please help my students to get the materials they need to continue to develop their skills. They deserve these materials to help them learn.
