This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our special education teacher-led project aims to equip our students with disabilities with vital workplace skills through a student-run business. To achieve this goal, we are seeking funding to acquire basic materials essential for launching and sustaining our business endeavors. These materials include aprons, buckets, cups, towels, sanitizer, and cleaning supplies.

Our primary focus is to provide students with hands-on experiences that teach workplace skills such as responsibility, teamwork, professionalism, and communication.

Through this project, we aim to foster a sense of independence and confidence in our students, enabling them to actively contribute to society and pursue meaningful employment in the future.
