Help me give my students supplies like colored pencils (including multiculteral colors), highlighers, reward stickers and a new pencil sharpener for our classroom.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work MultiLingual Learners in a K-5 setting. As an MLL teacher, students come to me in small groups throughout the day to improve their English Language skills. There are over 130 MLL studetns in my school that receive support in my classroom, and we go through a lot of materials!
My goal for this project is to replenish some of our most used supplies, ensuring that all off my students never have to worry about not having what they need to be ready to participate in my class.
My students are special because they come from all over the world! However, while they are eager to learn English and are excited to share about their cultures, they don't always have it easy. A lot of these students' families cannot afford the basic supplies needed for school and I'd love to be able to provide some of these items for them.
