This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students at my school are creative, thoughtful and incredibly kind! They absolutely love hands-on, active and engaging projects. They come to school every day eager to learn and with a positive attitude.

My kids have chosen to come to our school for a hands-on educational experience.

An educational experience in which their culture and lifestyles will be embraced in the classroom. Each one of my students is unique, but that's what makes our classroom community all that much better.

My Project

Many of my students come from low-income families. Having school supplies is not a priority, there are other needs that take precedence.

I am asking for your help in getting my students the items they need day-to-day to be successful in second grade.

Having organization in the classroom will help the students excel in learning.

Some of these items we use every day in the classroom and without them, my students can not be successful. They need markers, crayons, and colored pencils to show their creativity. We need basic supplies like Expo markers for the whiteboards in the classroom. Having these supplies will help tremendously!
