My Project

This project will supply our outdoor learning space with chalkboards, erasers, and seating. Outdoor classrooms are environmental spaces that combine academic lessons with hands on experiences in nature. Outdoor learning spaces provide academic, physiological, mental, ecological, and emotional benefits to students, teachers, and the environment.

This space will give our students improvements in focus, memory, attention, and concentration by experiencing the outdoors on a regular.

Nature lends itself to the development of white and gray matter in the brain, increasing cognitive function. The space, however, not only benefits the students, but the environment itself is helped as well. Teaching students about the importance of nature instills sustainable mindsets for years to come. Your donation to this project will supply our outdoor learning space with the items we need to make it successful!
