My Project

This coming school year our will have our first ever STEAM class. I will be the teacher for this class and will be teaching STEAM skills to all the grades in our school! It is my goal to provide my students with meaningful and positive learning experiences. Once they enter my classroom, I focus on their potential and growth. I am hopeful that I can inspire them as much as they inspire me.

The STEAM manipulatives will help my students make education more concrete and meaningful.

Items such as paint, rubber bands, crayons, construction paper, watercolor paper will help students be able to create and use their imagination to ecplore solving real world problems. They will be able to use the manipulatives to provide a visual and hands-on approach to science, technology, engineering, art, and math. With these STEAM manipulatives, my students will have the opportunity to hone their observational, analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills. Using these manipulatives will help them now and in the future.
