Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach the most wonderful, precocious, curious group of first grade students. They are learning the basics in reading and math. But they are also learning about our world, conservation, empathy and vocabulary. My students work very hard in class every day and they deserve the best. It is hard to afford all the supplies we need to keep our classroom going.
These supplies would help make my students more successful!
We use dry erase markers every day to respond to questions and spell words. The pencils and scissors would be used to complete daily assignments and the watercolors would help my students be able to apply what they are learning in a different way-through art!
I know these seem like everyday resources but they are things that our classroom just cannot do without. With your donation, you could help my students have the supplies they need to be scholars.
