Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of my students have a disability of some sort, such as a specific learning disability, Intellectual disability, Social-emotional disability, and other health impairments. The supplies will help the students have various coping mechanisms and give them a break from classwork.

My goal is to get the supplies needed for my students to be successful both in and out of class.

The printer will allow me to give them colorful visuals and print-out activities, making them excited to learn. I will also use the science activities for my life skills science class, which are for students with Intellectual disabilities, so I will be learning at the preschool to grade school levels.

What makes my students special is that they are hardworking kids with large obstacles in their way, which other students, let alone adults, do not have to work with. Through all of that, many of them do not have the best home lives, so coming to school is a sense of peace.
